Accelsius Pairs Data Center Liquid Cooling System With Equus Compute Solutions’ Services
Austin, Texas-based thermal cooling technology firm Accelsius has announced a partnership agreement pairing its direct-to-chip liquid cooling system, NeuCool, with Equus Compute Solutions’ data center support services.
The technical and customer services that the Minneapolis, Minnesota-based Equus offers include server and rack integration and deployment and commissioning. According to Equus CEO Jay Lawrence, a 4×24 member, the NeuCool integration into the company’s services will deliver the energy-saving and function that customers want, Accelsius said Wednesday.
NeuCool’s direct-to-chip system is based on a two-phase cooling technology using a dielectric fluid and intelligent monitoring to achieve risk-free thermal efficiencies. The system can be scaled from a single rack to a platform serving an entire data center.
Accelsius CEO Josh Claman acknowledged Equus “as an ideal partner,” noting its vision of shifting from air-cooled to direct-to-chip liquid cooling systems that it shares with Accelsius. Claman also cited Equus’ technical aptitude in high-performance computing environments and ties with server original equipment manufacturers.
One of Equus’ recent tie-ups is with Ravel to provide a generative artificial intelligence and design workflow solution for remote and on-premise teams.
