AFRL Seeks Sources for Cross-Agency IC Data Sharing

The Air Force Research Laboratory is seeking sources of technology solutions to the Enterprise Architecture Solutions Technology, which aims to improve information sharing across government agencies. According to the broad agency announcement seeking white papers by May 1, potential contractors shall enhance security, cloud computing use, system integration, mobile cloud framework, application service technologies, mission service technologies and organizational compliancy, MeriTalk reported Tuesday.

The solicitation is funded a total of $49.9M, with $12M available annually for the 2020 and 2021 fiscal years. Individual awards usually last up to three years with contract values up to $3M.

According to an AFRL announcement, its data-sharing effort requires applications that support business processes, data access and correlation, autonomous data analysis and decision-making. The AFRL added that the advantages of higher-level authentication, such as two-factor and multi-factor, need to be assessed.
