Ahmed Ayad Named HII Mission Technologies Chief Growth Officer

HII Mission Technologies has appointed Ahmed Ayad as chief growth officer.

Andy Green, HII executive vice president and president of HII Mission Technologies, said Ayad will oversee the division’s growth strategy and help customers solve national security challenges. Green, a 2023 Wash100 awardee and a 4×24 member, added that Ayad’s expertise in strategic growth, capture management and industry-specific IT like C5ISR and cloud migration will position the division as a key contractor in the defense, federal-civilian and intelligence markets.

Ayad was the VP and lead growth official for ManTech’s defense sector before taking up his current position, HII said.

According to his LinkedIn profile, Ayad held his role at ManTech for nearly four years. Prior to working at ManTech, he held capture and strategic growth leadership positions at CACI International, Leidos and SOS International subsidiary STG. His private industry career started in 2003 as a program manager at RTI International.

Ayad holds a master’s degree in structural engineering from Baghdad University and a master’s degree in international economic development from Southern New Hampshire University.
