AI Defense Forum 2023 to Feature Talks on Defense and Intelligence Sectors’ AI Challenges

Keynote speakers and panelists in the AI Defense Forum scheduled for Sept. 13 in Tysons, Virginia, will discuss the challenges and opportunities for the defense and intelligence communities in the AI era.

Hosted by the enterprise AI application software company C3 AI, the forum will focus on the policy and security considerations related to the integration of AI into U.S. defense and intelligence operations, according to Ed Abbo, C3 AI president and chief technology officer.

Abbo will be one of the forum’s speakers, which also include Michele Flournoy – a former defense undersecretary, a past Potomac Officers Club event speaker, and co-founder and CEO of New American Security, C3 AI said.

The other speakers are Nikhil Krishnan, C3 AI’s products CTO; Lord Sarfraz of Kensington, member of the upper house of the U.K. Parliament; and Graham Evans, Booz Allen vice president.

Topics for discussion include ways for AI to improve equipment readiness and mission success and increase capabilities in contested areas.

The forum was first held in September 2022 in Pentagon City, Virginia.
