Air Force to Evaluate Refactr Platform on DevSecOps Initiative

The U.S. Air Force has awarded DevSecOps automation startup Refactr a Phase 1 Small Business Innovation Research 20.1 contract

Under the agreement, the company will use its Refactr Platform to automate Platform One, a Level Up Code Works DevSecOps initiative. Level Up will evaluate the Refactr Platform to determine if it will save immense amounts of labor-hours otherwise spent creating and executing overly complex process documents and manual effort, Refactr said Tuesday.

According to the company, the Refactr Platform is "perfectly positioned" to be evaluated on supporting existing automation content for Platform One to be built upon, maintained, and executed with the highest possible cohesion.

The Air Force SBIR 20.1 was the first joint program with the U.S. Navy and Army. It provides competitive awards that enable innovative small businesses to explore their technology potential within the Pentagon.
