Airship AI Provides DOJ With Video, Data Management Platform

An agency within the Department of Justice has awarded Airship AI a potential five-year contract to use the company’s video and data management platform to support public safety and investigative requirements.

The Acropolis enterprise management system enables users to manage devices and sensors in their digital ecosystem through the cloud or the Outpost AI Edge Appliance built on the Nvidia Jetson platform.

Outpost AI offers the capability to perform advanced analytics processing at the edge and video and metadata encoding and encryption, Airship AI said.

According to Paul Allen, president of Airship AI, the customer will use the platform to transition on-premises operations to a cloud environment that complies with the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program’s security requirements.

The company did not disclose the exact value of the contract but revealed that it is worth six figures.

Allen said the award enables expanding an existing deployment of the Acropolis solution and validates the company’s capability to support the increasing agency requirements.
