Amentum Appoints Ex-CIA Deputy Operations Director as New Client Executive VP

Amentum, a global engineering, advanced intelligence and systems modernization provider, has appointed Dave Marlowe as vice president, client executive, to liaise with customers and to support the company’s strategy, pipeline development and growth priorities. 

According to Sean Mullen, Amentum executive vice president for business development and a 4×24 member, Marlowe brings his “deep mission insight in the national security space” into the company. 

Before his appointment, Marlowe worked at the CIA for over 30 years, primarily based in the Middle East and serving most recently as the agency’s deputy director for operations, Amentum said 

Marlowe’s previous CIA posts include working as assistant director for the Near East, managing all of the agency’s intelligence collection and analysis in the Middle East and North Africa.  

The new Amentum executive, a former U.S. Army soldier, served during the 1991 Gulf War in Iraq and received the Intelligence Star and the Distinguished Intelligence Medal, among other military honors.

A B.S. Psychology graduate of William and Mary, Marlowe earned a master’s degree in Organizational Development from Chapman College.
