American Systems Named National Top Tech Workplace
Virginia-based management consulting services company American Systems has been recognized by Energage as one of the national top workplaces in the technology sector.
American Systems President and Chief Executive Officer Peter Smith, a Potomac Officers Club member and three-time Wash100 winner, said the award, which celebrates a people-centered corporate culture, reflects the high level of engagement exhibited by employee-owners and their alignment with the company’s culture of ownership and accountability.
The National Top Workplaces awardees were selected solely based on the results of an employee engagement survey issued by Energage, American Systems said.
About 600 organizations across different industries, such as manufacturing, technology, financial services, healthcare and nonprofit, received the award.
Besides American Systems, organizations like Hyland and CACI International were included in the list of top workplaces in the technology sector.
Meanwhile, the top manufacturing workplaces in 2021 include Medline Industries, S&C Electric and Brose North America.
Over at the health care industry, Myriad Genetics, Children’s Health, Prime Therapeutics, athenahealth, Kelsey Seybold Clinic, Advocate Aurora Health, Cleveland Clinic Health System, Mercy Health and Middlesex Health received the top workplaces award.
Some of the top workplaces in the financial services industry are Fairway Independent Mortgage, Progressive, Edward Jones, Homepoint, United Wholesale Mortgage, Associated Bank, CBIZ, Fannie Mae, FirstBank Holding and Fisher Investments.
On the other hand, organizations such as Noblis, Justice Research Institute and AARP, received the award in the nonprofit sector.
The awards mark the first time Energage issued recognitions for top workplaces at the national level.
