1. Providing R&D and Software Services to USAF

  • Contracting activity: Air Force National Air and Space Intelligence Center
  • Contract type: IDIQ
  • Value: $4.8 billion
  • Contract duration: 10 years

Altamira Technologies is one of the five companies that work on a massive $4.8 billion contract from the U.S. Air Force. This contract aims to provide research and development and software services. The National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) will benefit from this project, which will last ten years.

 

Other companies included in this new NOVASTAR (National Air and Space Intelligence Center Scientific and Technical Intelligence Capability Support Services) IDIQ contract are Modern Technology Solutions, Epsilon Systems Solutions, Radiance Technologies, and Xandar. The deal resulted from an initiative to consolidate 20 previous intelligence analysis service contracts with fewer contractors.

 

2. Advanced Technical Exploitation Program II Contract Extension

  • Contracting activity: U.S. Air Force
  • Contract type: Modification
  • Value: $960 million to $1.2 billion
  • Contract duration: 1 year

In September 2022, Altamira was awarded the contract modification for the Advanced Technical Exploitation Program II (ATEP II). It is a one-year extension contract with a ceiling value of $960 million to $1.2 billion from the NASIC.

 

Since 2012, Altamira has assisted NASIC by advancing analytics, exploitation, the creation of software and systems, and scientific presentations. This extension will enable Altamira to continue supporting the critical mission and activities of NASIC.

All work and support operations by Altamira and its team under this contract will occur at NASIC, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, and other sites.

 

3. Air Force Supporting GEOINT and MASINT Research and Development

  • Contracting activity: Air Force Life Cycle Management Center
  • Contract type: Modification
  • Value: $280 million
  • Contract duration: 2 years

Altamira received a $280 million contract from the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center in August 2022. This agreement is a modification of the previous multiple-award IDIQ contract. Under this contract, the company provides support for Advanced Technical Exploitation Program II with the following mission area:

  • GEOINT or geospatial intelligence R&D
  • MASINT or measurement and signature intelligence R&D
  • GEOINT and MASINT operational production support

Work and operations occur at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio and other locations until October 2, 2024.

 

4. Air Force’s Concepts Development and Management Office Support

  • Contracting activity: U.S. Air Force Concepts Development and Management Office
  • Value: $36 million
  • Contract duration: 5 years

Altamira Technologies won the $36 million contract from the U.S. Air Force. This five-year competitive Innovation Analytic Tradecraft award contract supports the Air Force’s Concepts Development and Management Office’s (CDM) capacity for scientific and developmental analysis. Altamira has been a contractor for the CDM office since 2016 through analytic tradecraft modernization and development and meets the agency’s objectives.

 

5. Aid in the Development of Space Force Mission Data Processing Technology

  • Contracting activity: Space Enterprise Consortium (SpEC)
  • Value: $8.5 million
  • Contract duration: 1 year

Altamira Technologies received the U.S. Space Force’s Space and Missile Systems Center (SMC) contract in December 2020. The contract is worth $8.5 million for the Future Operationally Resilient Ground Evolution (FORGE) Mission Data Processing Applications Provider (MDPAP). This contract aims to develop a working prototype technology for processing data obtained from missile warning satellites.

 

Altamira completed this project with Lockheed Martin, Toyon, CACI, Stratagem, and Spire Digital.
