About Rear Admiral Tracy Farrill
Rear Admiral Tracy Farrill is the Interim Director at Defense Health Network Continental of the Defense Health Agency. She brings a wealth of experience across various healthcare-focused agencies spanning over three decades. RDML Farrill was appointed to this position in October 2023 to lead one of the nine defense health networks of the DHA.
RDML Farrill has spent the majority of his career as the Chief Pharmacist at the United States Public Health Service and Wewoka Indian Health Clinic. During her tenure, she has headed various program implementations for the Defense Health Agency. She completed her Doctor of Pharmacy degree at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center.

Appointment of RDML Tracy Farill as the Interim Director at Defense Health Network Continental
Rear Admiral Tracy Farill has been selected to lead the Defense Health Agency’s Defense Health Network Continental as the Interim Director. Her command ensures exceptional care for service personnel, veterans, and military family members across over 25 military hospitals, clinics, and medical groups. Most of these facilities are located in military bases worldwide.
RDML Farill’s Selection In Line With the DHA’s Reorganization
RDML Farill has been selected for the position after the DHA’s reorganization of its internal structure. This rearrangement has replaced the 20 direct reporting medical markets into eight networks, with each one comprising a number of military hospitals and clinics. It aimed at providing better services to the U.S. joint forces stationed worldwide.
After more than a decade of operations, the Defense Visual Information Distribution Service has confirmed the rearrangement to better serve the United States military personnel stationed globally. DHA’s restructuring ensures every hospital and clinic reports to one network.

Visiting medical facilities in the newly established Naval Health Clinic–Hawaii in October 2021 has enabled RDML Farrill to understand the needs of staff and the condition of medical treatment facilities. Gauging from this visit, RDML Farrill was able to create more innovative programs that better the healthcare services of military communities.
Leading the overall DHA’s direction
RDML Farrill’s role at the Small Market and Stand-Alone Medical Treatment Facility Organization has been the catalyst for the shift of the overall direction at the DHA. In this capacity, she was able to lead the digital transformation efforts across different regional markets, helping them modernize amid changing markets.
