ASRC Federal Appoints Shaveta Joshi as Chief HR Officer

Shaveta Joshi has joined ASRC Federal as its new chief human resources officer

As CHRO, Joshi will lead a team of human resources professionals in managing HR business operations, compensation, benefits, talent acquisition, talent development and HR compliance functions, ASRC said.

ASRC President and Chief Executive Officer Jennifer Felix, a member of the Potomac Officers Club, said Joshi is able to align the critical elements of HR management to the business strategy and is committed to enriching the experience of the company’s employees.

Prior to joining ASRC, Joshi held leadership positions at outsourcing company Serco. During her nearly nine-year career at Serco, she served as the interim CHRO and vice president of both operational transformation for North America operations and HR and corporate strategy.

She also had a short stint as Serco’s director of corporate strategy and mergers and acquisitions and a six-year term as the director and head of total rewards, HR information systems and compliance for North America operations.

Earlier in her career, Joshi took on analyst and consultant roles. From 2010 to 2012, she worked as a corporate benefits consultant for Engility, which now operates under Science Applications International Corporation.

She also spent two years working as a benefits analyst for L-3 Communications and an analyst for Wachovia, a Wells Fargo company.

Joshi completed her bachelor’s degree in finance from George Mason University before earning a master of business administration degree from Georgetown University.
