ASRC Federal Subsidiary Secures $457M Contract to Maintain Vance Air Force Base
ASRC Federal Field Services has landed a $457 million contract to provide operations and maintenance services for the 71st Flying Training Wing.
ASRC Federal President and CEO Jennifer Felix, a Potomac Officers Club member and 2021 Wash100 winner, said the company will maintain vital base and training operations at Vance Air Force Base in Enid, Oklahoma.
The Vance Base Operating Support Services contract has a one-year base period of performance, four one-year option periods and two one-year incentive option periods, ASRC said Tuesday.
Under the terms of the contract, ASRC will provide services in communications, information technology, publishing management, installation management, inventory and supply management, transportation and fire and emergency services.
The 71st Flying Training Wing is an Air Force unit assigned to Air Education and Training Command. The unit is tasked with developing professional airmen ready for combat deployment, ASRC said.
The wing also trains pilots for the Navy, Marine Corps and U.S. allies, preparing Air Expeditionary Force warriors for deployment in support of combatant commanders.
ASRC Federal Field Services is part of a family of companies that specialize in digital operations and IT modernization.
The group also provides solutions in software, applications and analytics, engineering, professional services and infrastructure operations.
Agile Decision Sciences, one of ASRC Federal’s other subsidiaries, recently secured a $212 million NASA Research and Education Support Services contract.
The five-year contract calls for professional services and IT support for NASA’s peer review life cycle. The deal also supports the research objectives of four research directorates: the Aeronautics Research Mission, Human Exploration and Operation Mission, Science Mission and the Space Technology Mission.
