ASRC Subsidiary Lands $217M Contract to Support DISA Cybersecurity Program
ASRC Federal announced that one of its subsidiaries has been awarded a $217 million defense contract for information technology support and professional services.
ASRC Communications will provide services in cyber, cloud and other IT areas in support of the Defense Information Systems Agency’s Unified Cyber Situational Awareness program, ASRC Federal said Tuesday.
Jennifer Felix, president and CEO of ASRC Federal, said her company will provide the cloud technology and Agile processes that DISA’s analysts need to protect the Department of Defense from cyberattacks.
“We’re thrilled to have been selected to support DISA in this strategic effort to integrate their cyber platforms,” said Felix, who is a member of the Potomac Officers Club and a 2021 Wash100 awardee. The contract’s performance period is until March 2026, ASRC Federal said.
Under the terms of the deal, ASRC Communications will provide DISA a unified cloud-based cybersecurity platform to help prevent duplication of data and capabilities.
The platform is also expected to reduce the manual work done by defense cyber operations analysts while improving data correlation across their networks.
ASRC Federal added that the new environment will serve as a cybersecurity operations hub across the Defense Information System Network, which has been the Department of Defense’s enterprise telecommunications network for 40 years.
Headquartered in Beltsville, Maryland, ASRC Federal is an IT and professional services provider that supports federal civilian, defense and intelligence agencies.
ASRC Federal’s field services subsidiary was recently awarded a $457 million contract to provide operations and maintenance services for the 71st Flying Training Wing.
The company’s Agile Decision Sciences subsidiary also secured NASA’s $74.8 million Spectrum and Resource Management, Engineering and Programmatic Support Services contract.
