Aware, Serban Group to Deliver Biometric Solutions to LATAM, European Financial Sectors
Burlington, Massachusetts-based biometric solutions provider Aware has partnered with the digital technology and business consultancy Serban Group to deliver biometric digital identity and authentication solutions.
Craig Herman, chief revenue officer at Aware and a 4×24 member, said the partnership will enable the creation of advanced and secure biometric authentication technologies for the Latin American and European financial sectors. He added that the company’s on-premise and software-as-a-service solutions are known worldwide for their accuracy and fairness.
The partnership is designed to address validation-related challenges associated with the diversity unique to Latin America and Europe, Aware said Wednesday.
U.S. government agencies have been working to improve their biometric systems since the start of 2023.
In September, Leidos said it completed migrating the Department of Defense’s Automated Biometric Information System, designed to prevent intrusion and offensive operations against the United States, to Amazon Web Services. The move was performed under the Biometrics Enabling Capability, Increment 1 contract.
In July, the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services awarded the woman-owned small business Pluribus Digital a $135 million contract for biometrics information management services.
