BGS Names Diane Rinaldo as SVP

Beacon Global Strategies, a defense and intelligence strategic advisory firm, has recruited cybersecurity expert Diane Rinaldo as its new senior vice president. Rinaldo recently stepped down as acting administrator of the National Telecommunications and Information Administration and as acting assistant secretary for communications and information of the Department of Commerce. BGS founder Michael Allen said that Rinaldo's experience in telecommunications and technology policy will be valuable to the company's clients, BGS announced. Her work earned her the Executive Women's Forum's 2016 Influencer of the Year award. She was also listed among the 10 most people impacting cyber legislation in Washington, D.C. Rinaldo earned a bachelor's degree in political science and government from the University of Maine and underwent an executive program in Harvard University.
