Booz Allen Lands $190M Contract to Support Navy Networks
Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific has awarded Booz Allen Hamilton a potential $189.9 million contract for various technical services.
Booz Allen said the five-year deal was specifically awarded by NIWC Pacific’s Enterprise Communications and Networks Division, which is responsible for deploying capabilities for the Navy’s enterprise networks.
Under the terms of the contract, Booz Allen will provide engineering, cyber and programmatic services in support of Program Executive Office Digital and the Naval Enterprise Networks Program Office, Program Management Warfare 205.
Scott Sautter, vice president of engineering and technology at Booz Allen, said the company’s engineers will help the NEN office execute prototyping and test and evaluation efforts.
The company will also provide acquisition, installation and in-service engineering to multiple Navy locations, the executive added.
“Booz Allen’s technical depth and diverse talent are strongly positioned to support the breadth of digital transformation and IT modernization activities required by NIWC Pacific and PEO Digital,” Sautter said.
Booz Allen is an information technology and technical consultancy company that boasts analytics, digital, engineering and cyber expertise.
The General Services Administration recently awarded Booz Allen a $674 million contract to support the growth of Advana, the Department of Defense’s data analytics platform designed for improving decision-making across the agency.
Advana integrates hundreds of business systems used by the Pentagon to make data “accessible, understandable, and usable,” Booz Allen said in a previous press release.
