Booz Allen SVP Steve Escaravage Bags Wash100 Award for Leadership in GovCon

Executive Mosaic has inducted Booz Allen Hamilton Senior Vice President Steve Escaravage, a member of the Potomac Officers Club, into the 2022 edition of Wash100 for his leadership in government contracting.

The award is also in recognition of Escaravage’s contribution to the advancement of artificial intelligence amid the global race in the emerging technology field, ExecutiveBiz reported Monday.

In a recent interview with ExecutiveBiz, Escaravage stressed the need to “keep your finger on the pulse” when it comes to fields like AI, which he said is rapidly changing due to innovations in big data analytics and data science.

He explained that Booz Allen stays up to date in AI research and constantly scouts for potentially disruptive technologies. The company enters into partnerships with academia and large technology firms, the executive added.

Escaravage joined Booz Allen in 2000 and has since held various leadership positions, including as VP. He has been SVP since 2018. In his current role, Escaravage leads a team that helps clients integrate data science, machine learning and AI solutions, according to Booz Allen‘s profile. His focus areas include AI design, machine learning operations, cognitive automation and quantum information science.

Booz Allen added that Escaravage has overseen the company’s health, energy, commercial and international businesses.

He previously served clients in the Department of Defense, including the Joint Artificial Intelligence Center, through his leadership in Booz Allen’s defense analytics business.
