CACI to Provide Data Analysis Support to HSI Division Under $86M Task

CACI International will provide mission expertise in support of the Homeland Security Investigation division under the terms of a potential five-year, $86.5M task order awarded by the Department of Homeland Security.

The task requires CACI to assist interagency partners, law enforcement agencies and the Department of Defense in analyzing proprietary, commercially available and open-source data to allow the HSI to generate actionable insights and conduct targeted investigations. Data analysis methods facilitate the discovery of patterns that point to criminal activities, conspiracies and networks, CACI said Monday.

John Mengucci, president and chief executive officer of CACI, touted the company’s data analysis expertise. In his statement, the 2020 Wash100 winner said CACI’s ability to detect patterns and trends enables customers to identify terrorist threats before they result in an attack against the U.S.

On his end, CACI Executive Chairman and Chairman of the Board Jack London, a two-time Wash100 winner, expressed commitment to supporting the DHS in maintaining national security.

Headquartered in Arlington County, Virginia, CACI provides expertise and solutions aimed at addressing enterprise and mission challenges. The company has been recognized as Fortune World's Most Admired Company and is a member of the Fortune 1000 Largest Companies, the Russell 1000 Index and the S&P MidCap 400 Index.
