CalypsoAI to Offer AI Security Platform to Federal Agencies via Palantir FedStart

CalypsoAI is expanding the public sector reach of its artificial intelligence security platform in partnership with Palantir’s FedStart program. 

FedStart enables companies to integrate their software-as-a-service products into Palantir’s accredited environment for AI security and other applications and deliver them to government agencies without the need to secure separate authorization from the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program and the Department of Defense.

CalypsoAI’s offering is designed to identify and mitigate security and safety risks associated with the use of generative AI. Using the platform will enable rapid adoption of AI technologies within the federal government, CalypsoAI said.

The company noted that its solution protects sensitive information from unauthorized access via public large language models, detects and prevents malicious attacks deployed through generative AI tools and verifies LLM output to enhance decision-making.

Akash Jain, president of Palantir’s U.S. government business and a 2023 Wash100 awardee, said joining FedStart will also support CalypsoAI’s effort to secure its own accreditation for its technology.
