CarahCloud Marketplace Launched for Public Sector Workflow Integrations

Carahsoft Technology has announced that its new marketplace is now operational. The CarahCloud Marketplace is the company’s digital catalog designed to simplify the acquisition process for public sector customers seeking cloud-based software products.

Built using new application programming interfaces from Amazon Web Services Marketplace, CarahCloud Marketplace aims to streamline integration for independent software vendors and AWS partners, Carahsoft said.

According to Carahsoft, it is among the first AWS Public Sector Program members to leverage the new APIs, which allow AWS partners and customers to host, manage and promote their own branded AWS Marketplace storefronts directly from their websites.

Carahsoft President Craig Abod, a 2024 Wash100 awardee, said CarahCloud Marketplace offers flexible payment terms and allows customers to purchase from their preferred marketplace channel partner.

Tina Chiao, director of Carahsoft’ AWS business unit, added that the APIs expedite the process for Carahsoft and its ISV partners to bring public sector-specific solutions to the market.

Looking forward, Abod said the Carahsoft anticipates future API releases from the AWS Marketplace to enhance the public sector’s marketplace experience.
