Carahsoft, Smartpoint Solutions to Make Cloudburst’s Crypto Security Platform Available to Government

Cyberthreat intelligence solutions provider Cloudburst Technologies has partnered with Carahsoft Technology and Smartpoint Solutions to make its solutions available to the public sector.

Under the agreement, Carahsoft will act as Cloudburst’s public sector distributor, making Cloudburst’s cryptocurrency fraud mitigation solutions available to government users. The Cloudburst Application Programming Interface allows users to identify and prevent potential crypto fraud using structured, machine-readable and real-time fraud campaign monitoring across the internet and can track global fraud rings using a wide range of search parameters and metadata.

Alex Whitworth, cybersecurity solutions vertical executive at Carahsoft and a 4×24 member, said the partnership ensures that government users can overcome widespread cyberthreats posed by organized groups and state-sponsored actors. He shared that Carahsoft’s work with other companies allows the government to identify and prevent threats before they materialize.

Cloudburst API will be available through various government contracting vehicles. Smartpoint will operate as a certified Cloudbust reseller, Carahsoft said.

The agreement joins other deals Carahsoft made with other companies to help the government address mission needs.

Earlier in March, SimSpace partnered with Carahsoft to make its Cyber Force platform available to the public sector. Cyber Force gives users a training solution that can simulate live-fire scenarios and cyberattacks.

In February, Carahsoft and Paperless Innovation partnered so government agencies could access Actus Global Privacy Control, a compliance automation product that improves acquisition accountability and transparency.
