Carahsoft Joins Broadcom’s Global Cybersecurity Aggregator Program
Carahsoft Technology has entered into a cybersecurity aggregator agreement with Broadcom to better serve public-sector customers and reseller partners.
Broadcom's global cybersecurity aggregator program allows partners to take advantage of the company's unique purpose-build tools and resources, Carahsoft said Thursday.
“We are proud to be chosen for this program and look forward to working with our reseller and system integrators partners to better support our government customers and drive adoption of Broadcom’s cutting-edge Symantec enterprise cybersecurity solutions," said Carahsoft President Craig Abod, a six-time Wash100 winner.
Carahsoft said it serves as the distributor for Symantec' and CA Technologies' security and application development solutions under Broadcom in the public sector.
The solutions are available through Carahsoft's resellers and integrators on the company's General Services Schedule 70, NASA Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement V, Information Technology Enterprise Solutions-Software 2, National Association of State Procurement Officials ValuePoint, The Quilt and other contracts.
Carahsoft said the new CSAP will allow it to better leverage Symantec's tools designed to solve customers' pressing issues quickly and efficiently while offering services geared toward the government space.
Carahsoft said it partnered with Symantec in 2004 and has since created a dedicated sales team specialized in solutions designed to secure government enterprises.
Roy Border, vice president of global partners at Broadcom, said Carahsoft will serve as his company's premier distributor for the government, education and health care markets.
“The mass shift to remote work has dramatically expanded the threat landscape, and we stand ready to help public sector agencies secure their IT environments and maintain compliance in collaboration with Carahsoft and its reseller partners," Borden added.
