Carahsoft Technology Includes Aqua Security Platform in AWS Distribution Program

Virginia-based Carahsoft Technology has started offering Aqua Security’s Cloud Native Security Platform on Amazon Web Services Marketplace through its Distributor Seller of Record program.

The solution is meant to provide users with visibility into multicloud environments to support decision-making and ensure compliance, Carahsoft said. It is a cloud-native application protection platform, which refers to offerings that encompass various cloud security functions.

Alex Whitworth, Carahsoft’s Aqua team lead and a 4×24 member, explained that adding the solution to AWS Marketplace allows government customers to procure it more easily.

Through the DSOR program, independent software vendors can authorize Carahsoft to list their products and manage backend processes. Recent inclusions to the program include offerings from Palo Alto Networks and VMware.

According to Carahsoft, it works with resellers and managed service providers to provide a full solution on AWS that includes professional, migration and infrastructure services.

In 2022, Carahsoft and AWS agreed to open new market opportunities for independent software vendors as part of an expanded partnership.
