Rendered.ai Taps Carahsoft to Offer Synthetic Data Generator to Government Customers

Seattle, Washington-based Rendered.ai has partnered with Carahsoft Technology to bring its synthetic data generation platform to the public sector.

Under the partnership, Carahsoft will be the Master Government Aggregator for the Rendered .ai platform, bringing the solution to government customers through Carahsoft’s resellers and government supply mechanisms, such as the National Association of State Procurement Officials ValuePoint and OMNIA Partners.

According to Michael Adams, Carahsoft program executive for artificial intelligence solutions and a 4×24 member, the Rendered .ai solution enables the company and its resellers to offer the latest AI and machine learning solutions to government users, Carahsoft said Tuesday.

The company added that Rendered .ai’s solution addresses the users’ need for voluminous, less costly data for computer vision algorithm training. The platform connects customers not only to Rendered .ai’s proprietary simulation technology but also to platforms of the company’s partners, Carahsoft noted.

One of Rendered .ai’s partnerships provides access to the DIRSIG simulator of the Rochester Institute of Technology’s DIRS Laboratory. The company is also a partner of geographic information system software provider Esri, providing synthetic scene creators access to base maps and imagery services.
