Carahsoft to Resell HashiCorp Products on Amazon Web Services Marketplace

Carahsoft Technology has announced that it will resell HashiCorp’s automation software on Amazon Web Services Marketplace through the Distributor Seller of Record program.

DSOR simplifies how the government acquires cloud solutions from independent software vendors by integrating the AWS Marketplace’s Private Offers feature with a portfolio of contract vehicles, Carahsoft said. 

The program provides flexible pricing, rapid deployment and license management, the distributor added.

HashiCorp, a Carahsoft partner since 2020, offers infrastructure and security lifecycle management products to automate cloud processes.

Melissa Palmer, president of HashiCorp Federal and a 4×24 member, said her company’s listing on the DSOR program will streamline procurement for agencies transitioning legacy systems to the cloud.

In an October 2023 podcast interview, Palmer stated that federal organizations are increasingly using HashiCorp software, such as TerraForm and Nomad Packer, amid an ongoing shift to infrastructure-as-a-service.

She added that such products can also benefit large commercial firms, explaining that government and industry cloud environments are largely similar.
