CISA Awards NTT DATA Cybersecurity Services Contract

NTT DATA's federal services subsidiary has won a $23.3M task order to provide cybersecurity services to the Cybersecurity Division of the Department of Homeland Security's Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency.

The task order was awarded under the company's General Services Administration multiple-award schedule contract, Intelligence Community News reported

Under the terms of the task order, NTT DATA will provide various cybersecurity support services in support of CISA's Cyber Hygiene Program.

“The shift to telework means everyone, including the bad guys, are online more, which means agencies and organizations have to be more vigilant," said subsidiary President Kevin Durkin, a Potomac Officers Club member.

NTT DATA's services are expected to simultaneously identify vulnerable and poor practices that increase the government's exposure to external cyber threats. The company will also provide recommendations for cybersecurity improvements.

The contractor will also support CISA's Vulnerability Branch, which supports the DHS by conducting cybersecurity vulnerability assessment services for public and private-sector entities, including federal, state, local, tribal and territorial government agencies.

DHS previously awarded NTT DATA a $17.5M GSA Alliant 2 task order to provide the agency's Office of the Inspector General with help desk, network and infrastructure system administration and enterprise application support services.

“NTT DATA Federal is experienced, well-positioned and ready to serve DHS in supporting their important mission," Durkin added.

Headquartered in Tokyo, Japan, NTT DATA is a provider of consulting, application, business process, cloud and infrastructure services to businesses and governments worldwide.

The company also specializes in advisory services, application development, enterprise application services, business intelligence and analytics, outsourcing services and cloud solutions.
