Cofense Phishing Platform Receives FedRAMP In Process Designation

Cofense has announced that its phishing security education training platform, called Cofense PhishMe, has been given the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program In Process designation.

Cofense PhishMe enables employees to counter phishing attacks by putting them under training and ongoing simulations, as well as by providing a reporting tool that promotes swift anti-phishing detection and response.

The company is also working to receive an Authorization to Operate approval and ultimately, a FedRAMP Authorized Moderate certification, Cofense said Wednesday.

The certification would enable Cofense to proactively counter cybersecurity threats via email on behalf of federal agencies.

FedRAMP said the moderate-impact authorization “is most appropriate for Cloud Service Offerings where the loss of confidentiality, integrity, and availability would result in serious adverse effects on an agency’s operations, assets, or individuals.”
