CRDF Global Joins AES2 Task Order to Support Fight Against Transnational Security Threats

Arlington, Virginia-based nonprofit CRDF Global announced that it has secured a subcontract to support Advanced Engineering Solutions & Services in the Counter-Narcotics and Global Threats Operations, Logistics and Training Support program of the Department of Defense and its partner countries. The U.S. Air Force awarded AES2 and 17 other companies the $960 million indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity task order for the program in March 2023.

Most of the contract tasks will be performed outside the United States for completion on or before Sept. 17, 2032.  The project is geared at fighting international security threats, such as transnational organized crime, piracy, illegal drug trade and human trafficking, CRDF Global said Tuesday.

CRDF Global President and CEO Tina Dolph, a Wash100 winner and 4×24 member, noted the company’s “decades of experience training and capacity building missions” for transnational security, as she expressed confidence in the partnership with AES2.

The training support that CRDF Global teams have been providing worldwide on counterterrorism and law enforcement makes the company ready and well-positioned for the program’s requirements, she added.

Mike Watts, AES2 president, also conveyed optimism on the partnership, noting that both companies have provided the U.S. government with services in “missions of high significance to national security for decades.”
