David Pickles, Senior Vice President of Energy, Environment and Infrastructure at ICF International

David Pickles is the senior vice president of energy, environment and infrastructure at ICF International. He has been holding his current leadership role since April 2020.

Pickles leads ICF’s energy, environment and infrastructure operating group. This team provides environmental planning and science, energy efficiency, surface transportation, resiliency and other environmental support services to federal, state, local, utility and commercial clients.

The industry veteran has been with ICF for over 18 years and has held multiple leadership roles at the company, according to Pickles’ LinkedIn profile.

Pickles joined ICF in 2004 as vice president and leader of the company’s Central and Southwest businesses. Other leadership roles that Pickles held at ICF are SVP and director of energy efficiency strategy and business development and SVP of commercial energy.

He was the director of market strategy at Navigant Consulting before joining ICF. Navigant was acquired by Guidehouse in 2019.

Pickles holds a master’s degree in public utility economics and a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Wyoming.

ICF offers analytics, cybersecurity, digital transformation and IT modernization and research services to a broad range of industries, including health care, transportation, public sector and education clients. It is headquartered in Fairfax, Virginia, and has multiple offices within and outside the U.S.
