Defense Manpower Data Center Selects ECS to Support Digital Transformation

The Defense Manpower Data Center has awarded ECS a five-year $19 million contract to support DMDC’s digital transformation. DMDC maintains information on Department of Defense entitlements, benefits and medical readiness for uniformed service members, veterans and their families and serves as the central source for identifying, authenticating, authorizing and providing information on personnel during and after their affiliation with the DOD.

According to ECS President John Heneghan, a 4×24 member and a 2023 Wash100 winner, the company will use its expertise in the ServiceNow workflow management platform to help improve DMDC services. Contract work includes optimizing existing ServiceNow instances and supporting new platform deployments, ECS said.

The company is a ServiceNow Elite partner, meaning ECS demonstrates expertise in five or more ServiceNow products focused on IT, employee experience and customer service workflows and is operating across multiple geographies.

Martin Burke, vice president of integrated solutions at ECS, said the company will use the features and flexibility of the ServiceNow platform to help DMDC reengineer and modernize its business and IT processes.
