Deloitte Adopts Generative AI to Enhance Government Health Solutions

Deloitte announced that it has incorporated generative AI into its suite of tools to help enhance the delivery of government health care services, modernize Medicaid systems, streamline administrative tasks and promote health services equity for underserved families and individuals. 

The company’s health solutions enhanced with GenAI include HealthMap, a tool for managing state Medicaid programs’ costs, and HealthChoice, a health benefit exchange platform. 

GenAI is also at work in Deloitte’s HealthPrism, a tool used to distribute public health resources and interventions. 

According to Deloitte, each GenAI deployment across the suite of health care solutions brings in the company’s Trustworthy AI framework for the safe, secure and transparent use of GenAI and machine learning technologies.

GenAI’s capabilities position government health agencies to quickly accomplish tasks like interpreting documents and summarizing key policies, Deloitte said.   

The company recently launched its next-generation CortexAI for Government portfolio to provide government agencies and institutions of higher learning with AI, machine learning and process automation solutions.
