Department of Defense Awards Peraton $850M Intelligence Systems Deal
Virginia-headquartered Peraton has been awarded an $850 million contract by the Department of Defense to provide agile analytic platforms and data management solutions to enhance intelligence systems. The latest award represents a continuation of a decades-long relationship with the department and validates its extensive experience in providing technological solutions across the intelligence community and military, Peraton said Wednesday.
Tom Afferton, president of Peraton’s cyber mission sector, said his company is fully prepared to deliver on its critical mission of sustaining and evolving intelligence community systems. Afferton, who previously spoke at a Potomac Officers Club event, emphasized that Peraton is proud of its longstanding relationship with the DOD and of supporting the modernization of its data management capabilities.
For his part, Stu Shea, Peraton’s chairman, president and chief executive officer, said the latest award is the result of years of exceptional performance from his company’s technical teams and solidifies its relationship with the DOD. The 2022 Wash100 awardee added that Peraton is proud to have helped IC customers solve their most daunting challenges.
Peraton said that the portfolio of capabilities it offers to government customers includes full-spectrum cyber operations, information operations, cyber capability development, and signal intelligence solutions.
