Dynatrace Says Moderate-Level FedRAMP Authorization ‘In Process’

Dynatrace, a software intelligence company, has announced that it is working to secure Federal Risk Authorization Management Program authorization at a moderate impact level. Francisco Salguero, the Federal Communications Commission's chief information officer, said Dynatrace has been instrumental in the agency's cloud migration activities.

FedRAMP authorization would allow the company to offer its artificial intelligence-powered Software Intelligence Platform to federal agencies, Dynatrace said Tuesday.

FedRAMP is a government program designed to boost confidence in cloud-based services through security assessment, authorization and continuous monitoring.

Steve Tack, the company's senior vice president of product management, said a FedRAMP authorization would let Dynatrace help federal agencies "achieve their mission goals and deliver seamless digital experiences through the public cloud as well as on-premises environments."
