Empower AI Secures US Army Contract for C5ISR, IT Support Services

The U.S. Army Information Systems Engineering Command has awarded Empower AI a potential 18-month, $21 million contract for IT and engineering services.

Empower AI said that under the Total Engineering and Integration Services IV contract, the company will provide C5ISR services to the Army Intelligence and Security Command and the Army Counterintelligence Command. Empower AI will also provide IT hardware, audio/visual systems, secure voice equipment, IT integration services and other ancillary support.

Jeff Bohling, CEO of Empower AI and a 4×24 member, said the contract will ensure that warfighters have the equipment and support necessary to achieve their missions. He added that modernization efforts will keep the service’s infrastructure updated.

Work will be performed in Fort Meade, Maryland, Empower AI said Monday.

The contract follows a potential two-year, $14 million task order the Army ISEC awarded to Empower AI in December. Under the task order, the company will provide cybersecurity support services, lifecycle management, IT support and security control assessor-validator services to the command’s Mission Engineering directorate.
