Enveil Secures SBIR Contract to Provide AI Capabilities for US Army’s Project Linchpin
The U.S. Army has awarded Enveil a contract to provide secure artificial intelligence capabilities for Project Linchpin.
The Army initiative aims to develop an AI and machine learning operations pipeline to support the modernization efforts of the Program Executive Office Intelligence, Electronic Warfare and Sensors.
Under the Direct to Phase II Small Business Innovation Research contract, the Army will have access to ZeroReveal ML solutions, which allow users to encrypt ML models to train them even in untrusted, lower trusted or third-party data environments and enable secure model evaluation, Enveil said.
The software products, which will support the security and operationalization of ML in a multidomain environment, feature Privacy Enhancing Technologies to protect critical information and the Army mission owners’ interests and intentions from adversaries, the company added.
Enveil, one of the two companies selected to deliver secure AI capabilities for Project Linchpin, won the contract as a result of an xTech competition.
