WHAT

With the increase of space exploration and defense, space research and technology continues to expand. Spanning across weapons, military and aerospace, Space agencies such as NASA and the U.S. Space Force, have worked to develop innovative solutions to support critical space and defense missions.

The Defense Space Strategy, released mid-2020, provides broad guidance to the Department of Defense for achieving desired conditions in space over the next ten years. DoD will work to maintain space superiority, provide space capabilities to U.S. and allied forces and ensure stability in space.

Gen. John Raymond, Chief of Space Operations with the U.S. Space Force and 2020 Wash100 Award recipient, will serve as a keynote speaker during the Summit. He will address space technology, innovation and private-public partnerships that will expand federal space defense capabilities and help defeat adversaires.
