Preparing for the Contested Logistics Era Forum | Potomac Officers Club
WHAT
As complex geopolitical conflicts unfold around the world, United States military and government leaders are gleaning key insights into the future battlefield and gearing up to operate in contested environments. To combat the tyranny of distance and prepare for a potential long-distance fight, the Department of Defense is focusing on contested logistics and building capability in austere conditions.
Gen. Jacqueline Van Ovost, Commander of the U.S. Transportation Command, is slated to keynote this event. TRANSCOM's mission is to project and sustain military power globally in order to assure our friends and allies, deter potential adversaries, and if necessary, respond to win decisively.
