Executive Profile: Jennifer Welham, SVP at ICF
Jennifer Welham currently serves as the senior vice president at global consulting and technology services provider ICF. Since being appointed into this role, Welham has been responsible for managing a 1.2K-strong health, science and human services division that initiates health, education and social programs for federal and state agencies. Her leadership has enabled the division to launch research, training, technical assistance and evaluation support to agencies such as the National Institutes of Health, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, as well as the Administration for Children and Families, ICF said. A long-time official at ICF, Welham gained nearly three decades worth of consulting experience, with expertise in helping public and private sector clients understand and base their decisions off on scientific research for improved public health outcomes. The executive’s tenure at ICF also exposed her to the environmental risk and toxicology line of business. Under her supervision, the group grew from 75 members to 120 people in 2012. ICF also paved the way for Welham’s growth in technical and managerial skills. She is also an experienced manager of multi-million dollar contracts for clients in both the private and public sectors, as reflected by her Project Management Professional certification. Welham earned her bachelor’s degree in biology and psychology from the College of William and Mary and her master’s degree in environmental science and public policy from George Mason University.
