Executive Profile: Liz Anthony, ViON’s SVP for Marketing
Liz Anthony is a six-year senior vice president of marketing at ViON, a Virginia-based information technology and services company. In this role, Anthony is responsible for elevating brand awareness, positioning, thought leadership and digital transformation across all markets. She also develops strategic integrated marketing programs for the company’s cloud, data analytics and artificial intelligence solutions, and sustains partnerships with companies, including IBM, Dell EMC, NetApp, Hitachi Vantara, Nvidia, Nutanix, Cisco, Rubrik, according to her LinkedIn profile.
Throughout her 20-year career, she has acquired skills in sales, corporate communications, software as a service and multi-channel marketing, as well as expertise in professional/managed services.
Anthony joined ViON after serving over two years as senior manager of NetApp’s global public sector business. While at NetApp, she directed the company’s corporate marketing programs for field marketing execution to drive U.S. public sector revenue growth.
She also dedicated seven years of her career at Cisco Systems as a public sector partner marketing manager.
In addition, she is a member of the organization Women in Technology, an advisory SLED board member for The Channel Company, chairperson of the American Heart Association Executives with Heart, and a member of the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of Colorado Boulder.
