Executive Profile: Mark Gray, ASRC Federal’s President, CEO

Mark Gray, a 2020 Wash100 winner, serves as ASRC Federal’s president and CEO. He leverages over two decades of leadership experience in the information technology industry. Gray is credited with driving growth within ASRC and with successfully integrating two acquisitions.

Before Gray joined ASRC in June 2014, he worked at URS as vice president and general manager. He was responsible for the company’s business with the company’s customers in the Department of Defense and federal civilian sectors, ASRC said.

Gray also served as INDUS’ chief operating officer. In the said role, he was in charge of overseeing operational business units, corporate and strategic planning, business development and merger and acquisition activities.

From 1997 to 2006, Gray served as Anteon’s senior VP and was responsible for operations, business development and strategic planning.

He also joined the Naval Air Systems Command and held a range of management and engineering positions for major weapon system development projects.

Gray currently serves on the executive leadership team for the American Heart Association’s Greater Washington Heart Walk.

He earned a master’s degree in business administration from Georgetown University McDonough School of Business and a bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering from the University of Notre Dame. Gray is also a distinguished graduate from the USN Test Pilot School.
