Executive Profile: Matthew McDonald, Data Systems Analysts VP of Information Management Solutions Group

Matt McDonald has been serving as vice president of the information management solutions group at Data Systems Analyst for nearly three years. In this role, McDonald oversees the support of public safety and law enforcement agencies in federal, state and commercial industries. He also handles a team that provides comprehensive cybersecurity services to commercial and government agencies, in addition to coming up with innovative situational awareness solutions for energy and regulatory clients, according to his LinkedIn profile.

The executive has over 20 years of management experience in helping organizations meet their business and IT transformation goals. He has gained skills in cloud services, energy management, industrial control system solutions, cybersecurity and business intelligence, as well as expertise in program management, contracts, pricing, proposal writing and recruiting.

McDonald joined DSA after serving over eight years at Project Performance Company, where he was appointed as vice president for mission and technology solutions and director. While at PPC, he demonstrated expert-level leadership and contributed to business unit development, growth and management in federal sectors for energy, environment, health and public safety.

In addition, he completed a four-year term as the Department of Treasury inspector general for tax administration’s director of policy and planning.

McDonald graduated from the University of South Carolina with a bachelor’s degree in international studies.
