Executive Profile: Mike Pullen, CGI VP of Strategic Operations

Mike Pullen is the vice president of strategic operations at CGI, where he oversees government-wide acquisition contracts and CGI Federal's indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity portfolio.

Pullen has led CGI’s federal business units in securing projects worth over $2.1B in 18 months, as well as other contracts under the GWAC, multi-agency contracts and agency-specific IDIQs, according to his LinkedIn profile.

Throughout his nearly six-year career at CGI, he has contributed to accelerating task order response by establishing internal policies and procedures for task order management and government reporting.

As a three-year strategic operations director, he handled CGI Federal’s Chief Information Officer–Solutions and Partners 3, General Services Administration Alliant and GSA One Acquisition Solution for Integrated Services contracts.

He joined CGI after serving nearly seven years at Deloitte Consulting, where he held the roles of IDIQ strategic advisory leader and senior manager.

In addition, he previously worked as a project manager for American Red Cross and VP for IT at JK Moving Services.

The executive has gained consulting experience and knowledge in project and program management, business process improvement, information technology and communication strategy, information and knowledge management and complex system requirements specification.

Pullen received a master of communications technology certificate from the American Institute and completed leadership courses from Yale University.
