FLIR Appoints Paula Cooney as SVP, Chief HR Officer
FLIR Systems has appointed Paula Cooney as the company's new senior vice president and chief human resources officer. She will be responsible for managing FLIR's human resources duties and aligning its human capital agenda with the company's business objectives. Cooney will also be in charge of company structure, culture, employment brand, talent, succession planning, change management, engagement and acquisition integration, among others, FLIR said Monday.
Cooney most recently served as the VP of HR and communications at H.B. Fuller Company. Cooney also worked at Intel fr 13 years, holding increasingly responsible HR roles.
Cooney earned a master's degree in business studies, HR management and industrial relations from University College Dublin. She also holds a bachelor's degree in personnel management from the National College of Ireland.
