GDIT Lands $695M USAREUR Contract for Enterprise IT Services
General Dynamics Information Technology has been awarded a $695M contract to provide the U.S. Army Europe with secure IT services for both garrison and deployed mission command networks and systems.
The five-year USAREUR Enterprise Mission IT Services task order was awarded by the General Services Administration. The task order includes a three-month transition, one-year base period and four one-year options, General Dynamics said Tuesday.
“GDIT looks forward to the opportunity to continue supporting the USAREUR G6 and its growing need for expanded theater communications and greater interoperability to enhance Army and Allied mission command systems,” said GDIT President Amy Gilliland, a Potomac Officers Club member and 2020 Wash100 winner.
Under the terms of the contract, GDIT will deliver enterprise IT, communications and mission command services to USAREUR headquarters, U.S. North Atlantic Treaty Organization operations and other forward-deployed Department of Defense organizations and Regionally Aligned Forces in Europe.
GDIT has previously worked with USAREUR through the USAREUR G6 Theater Mission Command Contract II task order, which was awarded in 2016.
The $184M contract required the company to deliver IT and technical service management, systems engineering, data protection, cross-domain solutions and information exchange in locations across Germany, Italy and the Balkans.
The new EMITS task order calls for technical expertise in cybersecurity solutions aimed at optimizing critical mission command networks and systems enabling USAREUR operations.
