GDIT Unveils Digital Engineering Tool to Accelerate Government Projects

General Dynamics Information Technology has launched its Ember Digital Engineering Accelerator, the latest addition to the company’s growing portfolio of solutions aimed at expediting government missions.

The new technology uses advanced modeling and simulation to create and evaluate intricate systems implemented by the government, including weapon systems and IT networks, GDIT said.

According to the company, government agencies using Ember can expect significant cost reductions and mitigated risks throughout a project’s lifecycle.

Ben Gianni, GDIT’s chief technology officer and a 4×24 member, noted that Ember allows government agencies to construct precise models of systems, anticipate outcomes with greater accuracy and adapt swiftly to evolving requirements.

Having already demonstrated success in critical defense initiatives, GDIT also plans to expand Ember’s application across various sectors, including health care analytics, smart city projects and cybersecurity endeavors.

The Ember Digital Engineering Accelerator is GDIT’s ninth solution focused on propelling government initiatives.
