GDIT Records Strong Growth in Its Digital Accelerator Portfolio in 2023

General Dynamics Information Technology saw a strong performance from its Digital Accelerator solutions portfolio in 2023.

President Amy Gilliland, a 4×24 member, said that with the changing landscape and increased cyberthreat, the investments made by the company in research and development and emerging technologies are helping their customers rapidly develop and deploy needed solutions.

The company received more than $2 billion in contracts during the first year of its existence. The investment strategy in 2023 focused on eight areas, including zero trust, artificial intelligence and hybrid multi-cloud, GDIT said.

The new business it gathered includes a $712 million contract to help a Department of Homeland Security office integrate 5G, zero trust and artificial intelligence into its IT system.

GDIT has been a constant partner of the federal government in various projects. In November, it collaborated with the Department of Homeland Security to modernize the infrastructure of the agency’s St. Elizabeth Campus in Washington, D.C.

In October, it received a task order from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services to help with its integrated accounting system, providing hosting, operations and maintenance support services.
