GroupSense Names Adam Bregenzer as CTO, Jeffrey Duran as Chief Marketing Officer

GroupSense, an Arlington-based digital risk protection company, has named Adam Bregenzer as chief technology officer and Jeffrey Duran as chief marketing officer.

Bregenzer will be in charge of implementing the company’s technology roadmap, with a focus on providing digital risk intelligence for customers’ security operations, the company said Monday.

He will leverage his experience in delivering a range of software solutions for technology vendors and service providers.

Bregenzer previously served as a senior engineering manager at Venmo and held CTO roles at Archive .ly, Biosyntec and KnowThreat.

Duran brings into his new role about 30 years of experience handling public affairs operations and events for the Army and Army Reserve.

The Department of Defense honored him with its top defense communications award and multiple top-level communicator Army awards.

“The additions of both Adam and Jeff to our executive team come at a critical time in our company’s growth as we expand both our technology and market presence,” said CEO and founder Kurtis Minder.

GroupSense is a computer and network security company that offers cyber intelligence, information security, brand intelligence and risk monitoring, according to the company’s LinkedIn profile.
