Health IT Company IGS to Provide Data Analytics to HHS

Initiate Government Solutions, a Florida-based health technology company, will continue providing business and data analysis services to the Department of Health and Human Services.

Work will be done under a three-year task order for the Business Intelligence and Analytics Support Services contract. IGS said it will provide data analysis, visualization designs and interactive business intelligence work products to the Office of Applications and Platform Services.

Under the terms of the $4 million task, IGS will continue the BIASS work it began in May 2020 in collaboration with partner 532 Group.

532 Group is a women-owned small business that offers operations and technology consultancy to clients in the government, health and financial sectors.

IGS said it rapidly onboarded a BIASS team and rapidly addressed the program’s backlogs and requirements during the early months of the coronavirus outbreak in the United States.

“Putting the right team in place to support the government’s backlog and providing strong project management were key to helping HHS develop critical data analytics products for the enterprise,” said IGS CEO Claudine Beron.

IGS said it partners with the federal government to solve challenges in interoperability, data analytics, business and clinical applications, operations and program and project management.

In its press release, the company said it is ISO 9001:2015-certified, CMMI-SVC L3-appraised and uses methodologies prescribed by the Project Management Institute’s Project Management Body of Knowledge.

The company added in its LinkedIn profile that it specializes in federal electronic health records, software development, systems integration, management consulting, mobile health application development, data, artificial intelligence and health care informatics, among others.
