HII Unveils Cyber Threat Hunting Solution for US, Mission Partner Networks

HII’s Mission Technologies division has introduced a prototype cyber threat hunting kit that can detect and combat threats on U.S. networks and the systems of mission partner countries.

Grant Hagen, president of HII’s cyber, electronic warfare and space business group and a 4×24 member, said the company formed a team with extensive expertise to develop the small form factor Saberhunt kit, designed to meet the evolving needs of cyber protection teams.

HII built the solution with Dell Technologies, Secure Enterprise Engineering, Gigamon, VMware and World Wide Technology. The companies will continue their partnership to further develop the kit and deploy the solution to customers.

Saberhunt works to detect malicious activities in a cloud or hybrid environment. It has a modular architecture, allowing customers to use threat-hunting solutions tailored to their missions, HII said.

The company offers 24/7 support for Saberhunt, including remote troubleshooting and delivery of modular hardware components worldwide.
