Mission-centric data solutions provider Hitachi Vantara Federal has joined the International Biometrics + Identity Association as a member in the Technology and Solutions Provider category.

Intesh Singh, head of smart spaces and video intelligence at Hitachi Digital Services, said the membership holds much promise given the global organization’s extensive industry knowledge and experience and the company’s smart spaces and video intelligence.

The IBIA is involved in various activities, including educational programs promoting the benefits offered by biometric solutions and advocating for the interests of its members, especially those affected by legislation, regulations and public misperceptions, Hitachi Vantara Federal said.

The Hitachi subsidiary has been delivering intelligent data platforms, infrastructure and digital expertise for Fortune 100 companies. Its solutions provide federal agencies with data-driven insight to help advance their missions regardless of their data maturity levels.

Gary Hix, the company’s chief technology officer and a 4×24 member, said that joining the international trade group is part of Hitachi Vantara’s commitment to shaping a future prioritizing security and integrity in every interaction.
